STRESZCZENIE
Higienistka i asystentka stomatologiczna, to oprócz lekarza dentysty i lekarza rodzinnego, pierwsza osoba, która powinna być zaangażowana w proces profilaktyki onkologicznej. Gabinet higieny powinien być włączony w proces szeroko pojętej profilaktyki, również dotyczącej schorzeń onkologicznych jamy ustnej. Od poprawności przeprowadzanych tu procedur zależy często zdrowie i życie pacjentów.

SUMMARY
The dental hygienist or the dental assistant, apart from the dentist and a family doctor, is the first person who should be employed in the process of the cancer prevention. The study of hygiene should be included into the process of widely comprehended prevention, also concerning cancer diseases of the oral cavity. A health and the life of patients often depend on the correctness of conducted here procedures.
