STRESZCZENIE
Zapobieganie i leczenie infekcji tkanek okołowszczepowych możliwe jest tylko z zastosowaniem systematycznego i ustrukturyzowanego protokołu postępowania. W artykule autorzy zaprezentowali systematyczny, prewencyjny i uniwersalny protokół z wykorzystaniem Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT). Obejmuje on osiem etapów, od momentu diagnozy aż po indywidualne wizyty w ramach opieki następowej.

SUMMARY
Prevention and treatment of peri-implant tissue infections is only possible using a systematic and structured protocol. In the article, the authors presented a systematic, preventive and universal protocol using Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT). It includes eight stages, from diagnosis to individual follow-up care visits.
